The 19th Sports Festival Group Street Dance Competition 2023 was recently held at the Guangzhou Tianhe Cultural Center. Nearly a hundred street dance enthusiasts competed passionately, showcasing their youth and energy.

This competition consists of two categories: Big group dance and small group dance, with no restrictions on gender or age. From 7-year-old children to teenagers in their twenties, participants showcase their unique street dance style with great enthusiasm. Some of them wear cool suits, while others wear oversized T-shirts. From clothing to hairstyles, they demonstrate their youth and positiveness. Backflips, windmills, and Thomas Flair… a series of difficult street dance moves were performed, winning applause from the audience.

Street dance showcases the spirit of striving and going upward. In recent years, it has been increasingly loved by the public. This vibrant and dynamic street dance movement embodies the power of youth and the notes of dreams.

The relevant person in charge of the Guangzhou Street Dance Sports Association said, "As break dancing has become an official event of the Olympic and Asian Games, street dancing has become more and more popular among citizens, especially among young people. The popularity of street dance has been greatly improved."

"Currently, the Guangzhou Street Dance Sports Association has set up various competition events. In addition to the typical one-on-one competition, a group dance competition has also been added, making the event more diverse. This street dance group competition further promotes and develops street dance sports, helping discover new talents in street dance. We hope that more citizens can enjoy and learn street dance, and let everyone dance together."

广州市第十九届体育节街舞齐舞比赛开幕

2023年广州市第十九届体育节街舞齐舞比赛日前在广州市天河区文化馆举行，近百名街舞爱好者用热情和汗水进行了热烈角逐，点燃澎湃激情、赛出青春态度。

本次比赛设大齐舞和小齐舞两个项目组别，不限定性别及年龄。从7岁的小朋友到二十多岁的青少年，他们独特的街舞“范儿”酷劲十足，他们有的穿着酷帅的西装，有的穿着宽大的T恤，从服装到发型，都展现出个性十足的青春活力和积极向上的体育精神风貌。空翻、风车、托马斯……一系列高难度的街舞动作轮番上阵，赢得现场观众满场喝彩。

街舞运动展现的是奋斗向上的舞蹈精神，近年来越来越受到社会各界的重视和喜爱，活力四射、动感十足的街舞运动，彰显出青春的力量，跳动着梦想的音符。

广州市街舞运动协会相关负责人表示，“随着霹雳舞成为奥运会、亚运会的正式比赛项目，街舞也越来越受到市民群众的喜爱，特别是青少年的广泛参与，街舞运动普及程度得到了大幅度的提高。

目前广州市街舞运动协会各项比赛的项目设置，除了典型的1对1竞技外，还增设了齐舞项目，使得项目的发展更加丰富多元。本次街舞齐舞比赛可谓是助力街舞运动的进一步推广和发展，有利于挖掘街舞新生力量，期待更多市民群众能喜爱街舞、学习街舞，全民街舞一起跳起来。”
